Dr. Marissa Cavalier
I am Dr. Marissa Cavalier (she/her/hers), a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who practices compassionate, patient-centered care with a deep commitment to supporting women’s health through every stage of life. I believe that caring for women means honoring the complexity of their bodies, their experiences, and the many roles they hold—especially during times of transition. I am particularly passionate about walking alongside women during their journey through perimenopause and menopause, helping them navigate these changes with clarity, confidence, and thoughtful support.
In my clinical work, I focus on hormone balance, metabolic health, weight management, restorative sleep, healthy aging and overall vitality. I take a whole-person approach that looks beyond symptoms alone, exploring how daily habits, nutrition, stress, sleep, movement, and mindset all interact to influence how we feel. My goal is to help patients make sense of what their bodies are communicating and to create care plans that feel realistic, sustainable, and aligned with their lives.

I believe that healing happens best within a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a welcoming, unrushed environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported. Education is a cornerstone of my care—I want my patients to understand their bodies and feel empowered with tools and knowledge they can carry forward long after our visits together.
Originally drawn to naturopathic medicine for its integrative and holistic philosophy, I value blending evidence-based medicine with lifestyle and nutrition counseling that meets patients where they are. Rather than quick fixes, I focus on steady, meaningful changes that support long-term well-being, strength and resilience.

I have lived in Missoula, Montana since 2006 and am the mom of two boys. Being part of this community deeply informs my work and my values. When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing, floating the rivers, and spending time outdoors with my family, as well as cheering on my kids at hockey, soccer and flag football games.

I am truly grateful to be part of the Aralia Health team and to work within a practice that prioritizes connection, community, and accessible, high-quality care. We share a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where patients feel supported, informed, and cared for. It is an honor to walk alongside women on their health journeys and to support them in feeling strong, balanced, and well—at every stage of life.
