Comprehensive Diagnostic Onboarding
The Comprehensive Diagnostic Onboarding is one of our two Care Membership onboarding pathways, designed for patients who want a more thorough understanding of their health early on through advanced lab testing. This option is ideal for individuals with complex, longstanding, or unexplained symptoms, or for those who prefer a data-rich, systems-based approach to care.

This onboarding experience allows us to gather meaningful clinical information upfront, so your care plan can be more targeted, efficient, and personalized.
Equally important as which labs we run is how we interpret them.

Many patients are told their labs are “normal,” yet continue to feel unwell. Conventional reference ranges are designed to identify overt disease—not to assess optimal function or early imbalance. At Aralia Health, we review laboratory results through a functional and preventative lens, looking for patterns and subclinical shifts that may contribute to symptoms long before disease develops.

Our goal is not simply to be within a “normal” range, but to identify opportunities to support optimal physiology—whether you are working to resolve ongoing symptoms or proactively invest in long-term health.

Advanced Serum Laboratory Testing
Our comprehensive blood testing evaluates key systems involved in energy, metabolism, hormone balance, and long-term health, including:
-
Hormone testing - Measured using high-precision LC-MS methods for greater accuracy and clinical insight
-
Thyroid & adrenal testing - A comprehensive assessment that goes beyond standard primary care screening
-
Cardiometabolic and cardiovascular risk markers - Including advanced lipid markers, insulin dynamics, and inflammatory risk factors
-
Inflammation and immune signaling - To help identify drivers of chronic symptoms and disease risk
-
Key nutrient status and utilization - Including iron status, B-vitamins and methylation markers (e.g., homocysteine) and vitamin D

Expanded Functional & Specialty Testing
Advanced functional testing is selected collaboratively based on your history, symptoms, and health goals. The following categories represent possible areas of assessment; not all tests are included or appropriate for every patient. You will work with your provider to select THREE advanced functional lab panels based on your health history and priorities. These may include areas such as:

COMPREHENSIVE STOOL TESTING to evaluate digestion, microbiome imbalance, gut barrier health, and immune activity—helping identify how gut function may be influencing digestive symptoms, inflammation, mood, energy, and overall health.

ADVANCED HORMONE AND STRESS ASSESSMENT that looks at adrenal rhythm, sex hormone patterns, and endocrine disruptors to give a more complete picture of hormone function.

ADVANCED CARDIOMETABOLIC TESTING that evaluates cholesterol quality, inflammation, metabolism, oxidative stress, vascular health, and clotting markers to provide a more complete picture of heart and vascular risk beyond routine labs.

COMPREHENSIVE FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING that measures IgG and IgA immune responses to over 200 foods and additives to help identify delayed reactions that may contribute to digestive symptoms, inflammation, and immune activation.

HEAVY METAL TESTING that screens for toxic exposures like lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium—helping identify hidden contributors to chronic symptoms and guide a targeted detox plan.

MYCOTOXIN (MOLD TOXIN) TESTING that helps identify mold exposure and toxic burden that may be contributing to inflammation, immune dysfunction, and chronic symptoms—and guides targeted detox support.

ENVIRONMENTAL TOXIN TESTING that screens for common chemical exposures—like plasticizers, pesticides, VOCs, and industrial byproducts—to help identify hidden contributors to fatigue, inflammation, hormone disruption, and other chronic symptoms.

PFAS (“FOREVER CHEMICAL”) TESTING to help identify toxic burden that may contribute to hormone disruption, inflammation, and metabolic or immune imbalance.

COMPREHENSIVE NUTRIENT TESTING that evaluates key vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, and fatty acids to help guide personalized nutrition and supplement recommendations for optimal health and metabolic function.

ADVANCED NEUROIMMUNE TESTING that evaluates immune activity affecting the brain, nerves, and blood–brain barrier—helping clarify whether immune patterns may be contributing to neurological symptoms when routine testing is unrevealing.

ADVANCED CELLULAR TESTING that evaluates metabolic function and oxidative stress to help uncover root contributors to fatigue, inflammation, poor detox capacity, and chronic symptoms.
