Aralia Health helps patients overcome health challenges naturally. Dr. Stephanie Raven (she/her/hers) focuses on finding the root cause of an issue and treating it with natural remedies instead of immediately prescribing medications. Dr. Raven understands that physical symptoms are often the result of underlying issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, burnout and other ailments which show up as chronic pain, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances. Dr. Raven also offers gender affirming care to help patients achieve their idealized gender identity.
Accessible healthcare is a priority of ours. Aralia Health is one of the few naturopathic practices in Missoula, MT that accepts most medical insurance. For non-covered services, we offer an income-based sliding scale option. Discover how you will benefit from working with us.
Six Principles of Naturopathic Medicine
The Healing Power of Nature
Within each of us lies an inherent, ordered and intelligent desire to be in homeostasis. Put simply, our bodies are designed to be healthy. When we learn to work with nature, this can happen beautifully.
First, Do No Harm
Naturopathic doctors strive to use the most effective and least invasive treatment options that can help their patients. Choosing natural remedies first can often minimize risk and reduce the possibility of harmful side effects.
Treat the Whole Person
Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, genetic, environmental and social factors all contribute to health and disease. Our bodies need to be recognized in their complexity if we want to truly heal.
Doctor as Teacher
We are here to educate, inspire and empower. Ask all the questions you need to be the best advocate for your health. Doctors do not heal patients. Patients heal themselves.
Identify and Treat the Cause
Cure > Palliation.
We focus on treating the person, not the symptoms. This allows us to address the underlying cause of dis-ease.
Don’t wait until you’re sick to start thinking about your health. The power of preventative medicine is strong and has the potential to save tremendous time, money and suffering. Prevention is also the best public health tool.

"Dr. Raven was able to quickly diagnose the issues with my system and started me on a treatment plan that focused on the source of problems instead of the symptoms.
