Tides

Tides (they/them/theirs) began studying & practicing yoga in the early 2000s. Their practice & teaching style are centered around accessing support & being available to what's arising. They prioritize easefulness throughout & aim for a balance of nourishment & challenge. Their intention is to facilitate practice spaces that are supportive, open, & restful where people can tune in to themselves while building their capacities for both flexibility & stability. They have experience working with elders, children, people with disabilities or limited mobility, neurodivergent practitioners, advanced & beginner students. It is a sincere aim on their part that engagement with yoga be approached respectfully & with an awareness of how racism, appropriation, & colonization have impacted how we encounter this practice. They're grateful for the long lineages of teachers & students of this tradition that inspire them to continue to explore & learn. Tides is also a practicing astrologer & baker of cakes.
